I find I have so little energy to think these days that I not only haven't been posting to LJ but haven't been commenting (adequately, at length, coherently, or even at all in some case [yes, friends, I suck, I know; but I hope you forgive me] at other people's journals and especially on their fiction that I've been reading. So glad you have answers finally. I know from experience that it makes things so much easier to know it's not all in your head. But that doesn't make it stop hurting though. And your spine? OUCH. *gentle hug*

You may remember that I had spinal fusion in 201: it was amazing. The immediate relief from pain- in the recovery room- and the immediate recovery of strength in my arm- also in the recovery room-were night and day.

Not much to add as I'm in seder-brain mode, but thank goodness for the PA who didn't just brush you off.

Good point from [anonymous] that even the scariest surgery can sometimes be the right choice.

Information-gathering mode is good.

A lot of people care about you.
