At about 10 last night I was in the living room surfing on the laptop. Nicholas and Gavin were asleep and Sophie was watching the end of the movie. The dog came in from the open door to the back patio and came over to me smelling of skunk. Great. So, I told her to go back outside and went to the kitchen to wash the smell off my hands and look

Actually, I feel ok. The antibiotics are messing my tummy up but my ass is fine. You hear a lot about how the rabies shots are very painful but it wasn't too bad. I bet your tattoos hurt more. Then again, I don't have anything pretty to show for my pain in the ass. ;)

Well, yes. I used all my powers of pursuasion to avoid having toxins injected into my body but the ER doc wasn't having any of it. She said to me "If you get rabies you are dead. You don't have any choice about this." So that was it. Certain death is a powerful motivator. Although I find it hard to believe I actually would get rabies. Denial, much?

denial little, denial much.. denial is my friend..smiles. I'd be using it full force too in order to avoid a bunch of shots in my ass and then in my toe.. owie.. Oh and I had my tetanus shot done last year..those are a witch to say the least.. ouch..

I think it's extremely unlikely that you would get rabies -- but since rabies is fatal, I think it makes sense that they took full precautions.

And I am so glad it didn't spray the house.

My Saturday night was pretty tame...sick, bed early, etc. Nothing to compare to yours...
