At about 10 last night I was in the living room surfing on the laptop. Nicholas and Gavin were asleep and Sophie was watching the end of the movie. The dog came in from the open door to the back patio and came over to me smelling of skunk. Great. So, I told her to go back outside and went to the kitchen to wash the smell off my hands and look

Yikes! I can't believe it chased you! I don't envy all the needles and drugs.

And I am so glad it didn't spray the house.

My Saturday night was pretty tame...sick, bed early, etc. Nothing to compare to yours...

When that little shit was chasing me all I could think about was him spraying my house! I never in a million years thought it would bite me.

laughs..oh my...why is it I can imagine this in my head? Edie running screaming hyer head off with a skunk chasing her.. laughs.. Were you grabbing things along the way to save them from the skunks spray? ;)

You got the screaming my head off part right. What is really funny is we are painting the family room. So, all the books are piled up along the wall, furniture is everywhere in the living room and the lower level of the house is a total shambles. Nicholas had been in the hot tub and lay down on the couch covered by a blanket when he fell asleep. So when he woke up to my screams and tried to get the skunk out of the house he was butt naked. So, think of a crazy woman screaming and running being chased by a skunk, girlie standing there freaked out because she had no idea what was going on at first, naked man flailing his arms and trying to get the dog out of the doorway so the skunk could go out. And, Gavin slept through everything right on the floor in the middle of it all. It really was hilarious. Good times at the Miller's house.

I am sorry. I know you have a lot on your mind. I have been reading some websites, all of which seem very hopeful. I am sure you have done your share of reading and you will know more than your Dr. soon.
