Sylvanas stepped through the doorway. She sighted Krad immediately and walked towards him; although her aura of command had severely diminished, she moved with the same dark grace. Only one familiar with her attitudes would noticed the uncharacteristic tension in her back.
"You are Krad?" the Banshee Queen asked the golden man.
Krad looked at the unfamiliar woman, studying her for a moment before he nodded. "I am," he said calmly. "Are you the one whose abilities I may have?" He never got her name, now that he thought about it.
"Yes. My name is Sylvanas." After a moment's hesitation, the undead elf offered the Sunstrider's Longbow and a single arrow to him, extending her arms and bending her knees in a brief but reverent kneel. "Come outside with me. I will choose your target."
Krad took the bow and arrow, wondering at the bow, but now was not the time to let curiosity of customs take heed of his actions. "As you wish," Krad said, nodding his head and followed her outside.
It was inevitable that Azula would appear. Of course she knew little of this Krad character or really wanted to take orders, but Sylvanas would be here and that was important. These sort of things served as a reminder of what Mercury might have accomplished, had the computer not saw fit to make her depart from this place. She hadn't realized how heartsick it would make her, but such things were irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. She had lost several of those she cared about her, and what more could she lose if she came back to the Fire Nation hopelessly depressed? She had a job to do there.
She had one here too.
Besides, whatever this swap might have spelled for others, it was fortuitous for her here. She had felt a boost similar to that of the Kagura goddess after a kiss: strength unparalleled.
Azula saw the boy and Sylvanas, and gave them a polite but brisk bow. "So...I hear the fires need to be put out."
Krad turned to face Azula and nodded. "Yes. Most are probably out by now, but it's better to do a check over to make sure none are around. It can provide an advantage we do not want our enemy to have," He said, looking at the surrounding area for any smoke from any unnoticed fires.
Dick found his way into the church coughing a little a little in the dust that still hung in the air and on his own body, graying his raven hair slightly as he walked through the doors. He was doing what Tim and the others had always done, he was patroling. Survey the damage, estimate and collect casulties..It was what he still knew how to do. his weapons however felt awkward in his hands and he'd taken the sword he found instead of the now missing escrima.
" Looks like the party started without me" he chuckled although it was a bit forced
"Certainly," Azula said, and was gone in a flash. It was quick: it was as if the sun had come to Econtra, or if she'd had the chance to fight during Sozen's comet. Of course, the way she pictured that event was certainly different now, especially when one had to worry if they would breathe their last tonight.
At the moment, none of that mattered. She moved with efficiency, taking one fore after the next with ease. The powers she had been given had amplified her bending ten fold, and bending came with an ease she'd never known. It was almost too easy.
Once she was done, she turned to the other two again. "How many can we expect tonight?"
Atem walked over to the church, a little hesitantly, hoping this meeting wouldn't be inside. She could already see some people gathered there, but she didn't want to gatecrash, so to speak. "I hear this was where a meeting was supposed to take place?" she ventured.
