It was inevitable that Azula would appear. Of course she knew little of this Krad character or really wanted to take orders, but Sylvanas would be here and that was important. These sort of things served as a reminder of what Mercury might have accomplished, had the computer not saw fit to make her depart from this place. She hadn't realized how heartsick it would make her, but such things were irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. She had lost several of those she cared about her, and what more could she lose if she came back to the Fire Nation hopelessly depressed? She had a job to do there.
She had one here too.
Besides, whatever this swap might have spelled for others, it was fortuitous for her here. She had felt a boost similar to that of the Kagura goddess after a kiss: strength unparalleled.
Azula saw the boy and Sylvanas, and gave them a polite but brisk bow. "So...I hear the fires need to be put out."
Krad turned to face Azula and nodded. "Yes. Most are probably out by now, but it's better to do a check over to make sure none are around. It can provide an advantage we do not want our enemy to have," He said, looking at the surrounding area for any smoke from any unnoticed fires.
Dick found his way into the church coughing a little a little in the dust that still hung in the air and on his own body, graying his raven hair slightly as he walked through the doors. He was doing what Tim and the others had always done, he was patroling. Survey the damage, estimate and collect casulties..It was what he still knew how to do. his weapons however felt awkward in his hands and he'd taken the sword he found instead of the now missing escrima.
" Looks like the party started without me" he chuckled although it was a bit forced
"Certainly," Azula said, and was gone in a flash. It was quick: it was as if the sun had come to Econtra, or if she'd had the chance to fight during Sozen's comet. Of course, the way she pictured that event was certainly different now, especially when one had to worry if they would breathe their last tonight.
At the moment, none of that mattered. She moved with efficiency, taking one fore after the next with ease. The powers she had been given had amplified her bending ten fold, and bending came with an ease she'd never known. It was almost too easy.
Once she was done, she turned to the other two again. "How many can we expect tonight?"
As if to answer on her cue, Alice stepped out of the shadows. Little change had happened except for her eyes becoming a crimson red and her normally brown hair now red. It made her almost giddy,a s it reminded her of the Queen of Hearts before the warping: loud and angry, and the protesting of the painting of the red roses. It seemed an eon ago, before coming here and having people she didn't care to see die, and having to realize some did in their own world.
She moved toward Sylvanas and Krad first, giving them a small curtsy, then gave an appreciative nod to Nightwing and Azula. She didn't know what abilities they possessed, but the fact that they were out here tonight demonstrated that Econtra's residents still had a beating pulse.
"Alice here," she said simply. "A rather horrid night, isn't it?"
Krad looked at Dick. "It's just getting started, really." He commented and turned to Azula when she returned. "I am not certain as of yet, but some are coming. The more who gather, more likely to attract others."
He did hope everyone able would arrive. It'd make this far easier, after all, if everyone was prepared.
"Agreed." Krad said to Alice. "Hopefully a night that will have a brighter dawn."
