Yamato had heard about Takion's desire for some gingerbread, and while he hadn't made it very often, he was willing to try just about anything. So, he located a recipe, got the ingredients, and after a short while of practicing, had baked the pile of gingerbread that he now carried down the stairs to Sor-Eksi, covered underneath a paper towel. There weren't any flies in Econtra, but he still preferred to do it like that.

Once he arrived at the door, he knocked politely and waited to see if Takion was around.

Since he doubted that Siegfried ever expected anyone besides Pegasus or the cook (both of whom could come and go without knocking), Takion decided to answer the door. Of course he had to find the door first. There was a nice stretch of castle wall where the door normally was. But a bit of feeling around in the general area of the doorknob yielded success.

And when Takion opened that door, there was Yamato. "Hello, m'boy! Come to help with the decorating?"

Indeed, "the cook" was not far behind, having come by a little earlier than usual since he'd come across a few more ideas for the edible decorating that had been mentioned a little while ago. But upon entering the room, he stopped and boggled.

"O-Oi! Did we wind up in compound #3?"

"Well, I came to bring you this, but I can lend a hand with that." It had been a while since he'd decorated anything, really. But for the moment, he offered up the plate of still warm gingerbread, the scent wafting out. He hadn't quite noticed the decorations, if that was what the holographs could be called, that had so transformed Sor-Eksi. Not yet, anyway.

Saioh, paying a holiday visit, knocked politely on the door. Then, sensing that all the thoughts inside the room were quiet and untroubled, he went ahead and opened it. He blinked a few times. He was not easily surprised, but this was not what he had expected.

"Have you been redecorating, Takion?" he asked. "It doesn't seem like your taste."

"Not I," Takion chuckled. He gestured towards Siegfried who was once again working on the lines of computer code that were pure gibberish to Takion. The illusion had been left up, and Takion took a bit of enjoyment in watching the alterations occur. Most were tiny at the moment, such as a bit more texturing added to a rug to make it appear softer. Some were larger, such as a tapestry that was slowly being pieced together over on the wall. Takion rather looked forward to seeing what the tapestry would depict when it was completed.

"Ah, so I see," Saioh replied. "Now that I think of it, I believe I met the same clever gentleman the other day, out practicing his art."

"Art it is indeed," Takion murmured. "I would not have thought these machines capable of such."

Recognizing that he was being spoken of, Siegfried briefly glanced up from the PDA screen. He smiled and gave a quiet nod in greeting to the clairvoyant he'd met when he'd been experimenting with reprogramming Freya.
