Willow exited the school, making her way down the few steps, lifting one pale, slender hand to tuck a lock of auburn hair behind her ear, looking left and right down the streets of Econtra. The sun had long set and Willow kept herself busy by rearranging in the library. Once she'd finished her last stack, the redhead had forced herself to leave the building. Willow hadn't thought much about what would happen after, due to her not having much of a social life anymore. Surreal, gone. Buffy, gone. Layla...oh, Layla.... Gone.
Willow inhaled deeply then exhaled slowly, her shoulders rising and falling heavily. It had to be in the mid to low forties but they didn't bother her too much. Her coat kept her plenty insulated and she stepped forward, her boots making a soft clacking sound on the street as she began wandering.
Eventually, she reached the fountain, stopping for a moment and down, her shoulders heaving again as she sighed. Her sage green eyes slowly fell, looking down at her hands in her lap. It was at this spot that she saw Layla after her two month disappearance. Her throat tightened up on her and the redhead exhaled a ragged sigh through her nose. "This sucks," Willow whispered quietly to herself.
