"Looks like things are going well," The teen made a wide circle around a sparring pair so he could stand closer to the other boy. Lyle kept his eyes on the two fighters before glancing at Robin with a grin. "For someone who was so nervous about his first time teaching, I'd say you're a natural." The Legionnaire easily recalled the hero's message asking about teaching tactics. That was long ago when it was just him, Persephone and Robin.

"Anyone I should square off with?" Lyle glanced around, looking for free trainees and trying to gauge their skill level.

Robin just smirked. He wasn't going to let Lyle know how close he'd come to guessing Robin's thoughts. "We've yet to see how this translates into real battle -- although Kragok's volunteered to help us out with that."

He grinned. "Actually, yes. What do you say to Nightwing?"

"Wha...Nightwing? Really?" Lyle turned to give a shocked look at Robin. He was going to be training against Dick? The teen had been working on his aggressive attacks, having already near mastered a defensive style. But was it enough? He didn't want to look foolish in front of the man or his younger counterpart. "I'd like to. I just hope it wont be boring for him..."

"Trust me," Robin said with a grin, propelling Lyle with a light push towards his older counterpart. "If there's one thing Nightwing enjoys, it's sparring. I should know."

It hadn't taken the goddess all that long to pick up the basics. It was really quite simple once you got down to it and the forms weren't all that hard to memorize, though Persephone knew practicing and applying what she learned to a real fight were two entirely different things, which is why she found herself continuing to go to these sessions. You know, ignoring the fact that Robin was there, of course ( ... )

Robin hid a smile behind his hand as he joined the goddess. "Your sparring partner isn't playing fair?" He teased. "Just as well you've got another."

He gauged the distance between himself and the plant thoughtfully. Although he was much shorter than Persephone, that didn't stop him from turning to the goddess with an offer to get it down for her. "Want me to ... ?"

Persephone only just managed to suppress an eyeroll. Only just. She was a nature goddess -- if she couldn't get her own things back from a plant, then what would she ever amount to? Though no matter the intensity of the death glare the girl was giving the vine, it wouldn't let up. Teasingly it shook the staff high above her head, daring her to try something.

After a moment or so, she finally responded, "...Alright, fine."

Robin placed his hand on her arm as he passed - a very brief gesture -- Kragok's comments had rattled him more than he'd have liked to admit. "See what you and the briar can do working together," he suggested, giving his leafy opponent a short bow, the same as he would any other sparring partner.

Garth was up with the sun today, getting in a jog and coffee before heading into the park to see about that talk of training he'd heard. After the Auditions, he was beat, despite the impressive displays he had seen in comparison to the crop back home. They had made their decisions, and he was satisfied. He walked to the clearing past the tree line and observed the young Titan, impressed with his professionalism and ability to mentor others. He stood at the edge, hands behind his back as he patiently watched and waited for Robin to take notice. It was his choice if he wanted to talk.

Robin had only briefly talked to Garth during the Legion auditions and there was a lot he had yet to learn about Brainy and Lyle's team-mate. The Legion auditions were fresh in his mind as he walked over to join the Legionaire, but Robin kept his opinion about that to himself. He would see how things developed before making up his mind.

"Morning, Livewire," he greeted the older hero. "Or do you prefer not to use your codename?"

"Morning." He replied as he watched the trainees run their drills. He was doing pretty well for his age. "Livewire's fine, don't think it really matters unless some villain decides to pop in... cause headaches.." he said, He was serious, but he gave an easy smile.

"You got a nice class going here, ever need any help?"

Robin nodded. He felt the same way about using his codename -- it just made more sense. "There are villains here," he said. "None from your time, but one from from our world, or one like it, and others we know very little about. Whatever criteria the consulo goes by, hero isn't one of them."

Robin raised an eyebrow. "Don't you use your powers to fight?" he asked, surprised. "This class is more focused on physical fighting, building strength and agility. Master Chief is still looking for other teachers, I think. As far as I know, we don't have a class for people with powers."
