Otogi didn't quite know Chronos as well as Fubuki did, but there was little he wouldn't do for his lover, and he understood the value of a good teacher. He considered thoughtfully, then waved a hand and a tray of good wines, along with a number of glasses, appeared on the table.

"That should do for a start," he said thoughtfully. "I can provide some snacks later if people want to eat, too."

"It looks great," said Fubuki, giving his lover a smile. "I kinda wish now he was here to see it - he'd be impressed. ... But if he were here I guess none of this would be either."

Otogi nodded. "You're probably right." And indeed he was. He settled himself comfortably and waited to see who was going to show up.

Juudai, too, was slightly surprised at the serious atmosphere, especially considering it was a party being held by Fubuki of all people. He could understand it, though, and certainly much better now than before, when he'd been so childish and thoughtless. He'd never have been able to appreciate it then, he was sure.

He looked around and decided to just wander about for now, but avoided the wine table for the moment. Because it was no fun doing it alone... that and he didn't want to accidentally go overboard or something.

Fubuki waved to Juudai and walked over to greet him.

"Hey," he said. "Glad you could make it... Come to think of it, this is the first time you've come to visit here, isn't it?"

Of course Yusuke noticed that Yuuki was here. And said fact did make him nervous still - he wasn't going to deny that he still hadn't completely gotten over what had happened, even months after the fact, even after he had specifically come out and apologized. It still hurt a lot, and he doubted that he would ever get over it completely.

But this was supposed to be an event to honor Chronos-sensei, and Yusuke doubted that the leader of the Obelisk dormitory would have wanted his students to harbor bad feelings for each other. And besides, he'd been doing a lot of thinking, and he'd decided that it would be better for everyone's sake to give him a second chance.

"Yuuki," he said quietly. It was a tone devoid of emotional attatchment - not accusing, not angry, not sad, not happy, not curious, just a simple statement.

Juudai turned to the voice to see that it belonged to... Fujiwara Yusuke.

Well, he definitely hadn't been expecting that. Looking at him in sheer bewilderment, he blinked and, after an awkward moment, issued the greeting that had been lingering in his mind, which he'd been trying to force himself to just come out with already.

"Ah, hi, Fujiwara..."

It wasn't really enthusiastic, to say the least, but not downtrodden either, just somewhat mildly surprised. Fujiwara was talking to him? This was new; though he had enough tact now to avoid saying that out loud now, certainly.

The more Yusuke thought about it, the more he decided that he really should have made more of an effort to actually get into contact with Chronos-sensei. He hadn't really spoken to him all that much, and now he was kind of regretting it. Sure, he'd always been somewhat closer to Daitoukuji-sensei, in some ways, but...

He found a place where he could stand that was closer to the side of the room than anything else. It was close enough that he wasn't apart from the main flow, but far enough so that he wouldn't be in the way if someone wanted to move to another area of the room.

Fubuki crept up behind his old friend and slung an arm around him.

"Should have known you'd be hiding," he said. "Are you going to get a drink?"

Yusuke looked up when he felt Fubuki's arm around him - he'd been too lost in his own thoughts to notice him come up, but he smiled somewhat when he saw him.

"Soon, yeah," he replied. He hadn't yet, but he would at some point.

Fubuki nodded. "Good that you came, anyway. The more people here the better! But you should socialize a little more. Do you know everybody here?"

Atem walked over to Paj-Pente, lost in thought. It was true she and Chronos had interacted maybe less than a dozen times during his time here, but he had been nice to her, to a degree, for all that she was half-cat.

When she reached the apartment, she knocked on the door, ears drooping ever so slightly. She hated to see anyone she know leave.

Fubuki answered the knock and gave Atem a smile. She looked so glum that his natural inclination to try to make people happy took over.

"Hi," he said. "Glad you could make it. Come in and get a drink - you look like you could use it."

Atem smiled as she stepped inside, already feeling better. "I could do with it," she said, "but I'm going to have to watch my intake. I'm not that big, you know."

"Fair enough," said Fubuki. "I'm pretty sure Ryuuji would get you some ginger ale or something if you'd rather have that, but somehow wine seemed more appropriate for Chronos-sensei. He was a good Italian, you know."
