slept in again today and haven't enjoyed yesterday's strange motivation. still, i got some stuff done. okay, not the one thing that i intended to do today, but whatever. to go in order, i wanted to go out today and buy some boxes so that i can *gasp* start packing. on the way to Bureau en Gros, though, i made a small diversion to Fabricville. Seek out the biomedical labs. That's where tons of boxes are used and recycled! If you don't find the littering the hallways, ask someone in the lab where you might find some discarded boxes.

And.. don't be too proud to check the dumpsters behind the building. You might find a treasure trove of broken-down boxes of all shapes and sizes.

all good ideas, but we're trying to have all the same size / shape boxes to make packing the truck more efficient. with the books, i end up with a lot of boxes. it didn't make for the neatest packing job on the way here...even though about half my boxes were copy paper boxes.

U-Haul boxes are pretty cheap, though, so i'm okay with buying them. : )

Also try the WalMart. I get most of my packing boxes (that aren't Priority) from there. There are some small ones, but some nice big ones as well.

Also, I love the icon.

Go to the liquor store. They get alcohol in by the case and often have tons of boxes that they'll let you have for free. You could also try to Couch Tard.

When we moved I bought used boxes from a freight company for about 1/3 the price of what news one went for. They were in perfect condition...came flat for easy transport...and I'm sure you can get all the same size.
