Rainy Wednesday . . .

It was still dark as night in the bedroom at 9 a.m. this morning. Pete left at 7:30 to go to the lab and have blood work done. I didn’t even hear him leave, but about 8 a.m. I awoke and thought it was still night and went back to sleep. Too much, too little, just enough. Did Goldilocks have the quintessential human experience? We're going to be up against the forces of nature for the next thousands of years. I see a hurricane hitting Florida this morning. Stay safe, be lazy.

I think the hurricane is over Hawaii. Our deluge of rain is from extremely slow moving Tropical Storm Hermine.

I know....too much, too little, no place that is just right. Go with what you got and make the best of it, I say.

Ha! I think a percolator would confuse him even more. I don't think I've ever used one before either.

Geee....you got a good memory! Yes, simple one is put away. Didn't realize all this would happen that way this morning. He knows where it is in the cupboard, but he'd rather wait for me. He is just so clueless in the kitchen, either by choice or by choice. I think it is by choice. :))
