So Tariffs are threatening industry due to uncompromising Sino-US trade war, Iran and US have missiles pointed at one another in the gulf, and US/Russia are representing different interests down in Venezuela. Vacation!!!
Woo, that final twelve hours reeeaaaaally drags when it's the day before the start of vacation. And that last hour is the worst. Didn't help that I had to mount a poster as my final thing tonight, and the damned poster printer broke. D: Figures. Winter is... never gonna end.
Had about a week of 70˚+ and then a freeze, drop in temperatures, and a dumping of snow. I think every year since I've been here, there has been snow on the ground in May. Most of me is over it. The rest of me doesn't really want to wake up baking in the afternoon heat!

Jeeze. Woke up to a text today asking if I wanted to come in to work. We recently got a new department manager who has been far less inclined to call us in for extra hours, so it seemed a little weird to me. Especially since the door code also changed. I decided to take advantage of the overtime however, and went in.

Crazy Coworkers...
Just got to listen to one of my coworkers fantasize about shooting one of the supervisors because she got yelled at due to her lack of production.
This comes about a week after another guy I worked with was fired because he also threatened to shoot a guy in the head just before they had agreed to take a disagreement that they were having outside. ( Read more... ) -
Today I learned
It's cheaper to dump all of the bullshit packages that cable offers and just directly subscribe to content providers that I do watch. HBO for Real Time, Last Week Tonight, (and maybe some day a show about dergs that I keep hearing about.) Starz for American Gods, Netflix for... I mean, there's always something on Netflix.
