My second week of grad school starts tomorrow. Grad school is a completely different story than college or anything else I've done. The expectation is much higher. There is a lot more autonomy and self-direction, and it's all around more adult, I guess, for lack of a better term. This is my last night in Colorado. Not forever, I know, but after tonight I won't ever be a Colorado resident again, or at least not for a long, long time. Tomorrow morning my dad and I are loading up and driving to Wyoming, then Eastern Oregon Sunday, then Portland Monday morning. Greetings from Portland! I love it here. I love it here so much. I found an apartment -- I'm first on the waiting list for an upstairs one bedroom. It's about half a mile from the MAX (light rail) line, across the street from a grocery store, and an hour and a half or so from the coast, where we spent the day today.
