You know I understand. I hate it more than anything when I find small mistakes that my mind just breezed over during editing. But I'm not sure that I even noticed them and I'm pretty sure I got to it before you went over it again. Then again, I was probably too wrapped up in what was going on in the chapter to worry about it. ;p
I've said it before, I'll say it again... Even on your absolute worst day you couldn't put up a new piece that was less than excellent reading. A few very minor errors will not deter me. I can't wait for chapter 3!

Thank you, Cat, for the continued encouragement!
It really does help me to stay on target to know you're getting a kick out of all of this.
As for those tiny errors, in all honesty, they were just things that bugged me more than anything else. Simply knowing they were there impacted my opinion of the piece in total whether they made any real difference or not.
{blushing about the praise, the llama shuffles his feet and then smiles and looks forward to your reaction to the "fight scene" in chapter 4}

Heck I'm adoring this! I have missed your stories so much while you've been gone you just can't even imagine. And I loved the fight scene in chapter 4. I commented there but I'll say it again. Aya and Yohji are reminding me of a pair of young bull Elk fighting over which one will get a particular female for their herd. I apologize to Kenken for that. ;p
By the by do you mind if I start saving the new series to my hard drive? I've become paranoid about losing excellent stories in my old age. -_-;;;
Iron Chef RULES!!!e_samaAugust 24 2007, 01:03:37 UTC
Bwahahahahahah!!!!
{the llama rolls on floor laughing himself sick}
Oh my god, bro, that was GREAT! I really miss the original Iron Chef. The American version is okay, but nothing's as good as some of those reviews from the olden days.
{chuckling and thinking asparagus ice cream sounds interesting, the llama wanders away}
Eeek. I have to make time tomorrow to read through the new postings! I can relate to the finding of small mistakes - I am one of those who, when my mind is made up, simply cannot rest until I fix whatever needs fixing.
You know, with the weather you're having, I'm thinking you would be not only comfortable, but quite the dashing fellow in this little number.

::nods:: Nowadays we have the mass-produced barongs with machine embroidery - but for the truly formal occasions, purists insist on the embroidery being done by hand, as it was for generations. It still is, in one particular province about two hours drive from Manila.
As for the formal gowns...::fans self::...hoyay, those things could hold their own with anything overseas designers could come up with. Especially the terno, which our former first lady Imelda Marcos made (in)famous. I cannot believe that poor dress was turned into a fashion outcast for the longest time after the Marcoses were deposed. It seemed so silly to me for high society to turn their backs on what is our national couture heritage...but that's been fixed in the recent decade, thank goodness.

I remember all the fuss over the Marcoses and their indulgent lifestyles. Honestly, though, why throw out the fashion baby with the political bath water? It makes no sense.
Then again, considering what poor Aya is wearing in "Feeling Like a Fool", who am I to talk about fashion?

"Thanks, Ota." Turning to the analyst seated next to him, he asked, "Doc, what do you think Hidaka is up to.?"
Hattori cleared his throat. "I don't know if it'll go with the asparagus ice cream he's making. Other than that, I haven't a clue."
