Timing is everything... and mine sucks
Last night, I was so relieved to post another chapter of the latest work from my muses.
Unfortunately, a few hours later, I found errors in it that irritated me endlessly at 1:30am. Ugh.
Anyone else would've shrugged them off, said they were negligible, and gone off to bed without a second thought. As for me, though, they bugged the crap out of me. {dark sigh}
So I just fixed them---plus added a rice cooker to Ken's kitchen {huggles darling yanagi_sen for the kind reminder}---and some other crap in both of the chapters that had already been posted.
I also adjusted my profile at MM.org following an email from someone whose comments indicated to me that I hadn't been sufficiently clear that this is the place for updates. Hopefully that will help others who might be similarly confused.
Right now, I think I'll go work on chapter 3 of "Feeling Like a Fool". Maybe if I edit early enough in the day, I can catch my own mistakes before they go public tonight. Then again, the heat index is already 103 degrees at 11:30am, so I might not have a fighting chance after all.
