First of all, what is a 'normal' sized head? Besides, you need to contain all that wit, so it is nothing to disparage. (The cat looks terribly impressed with your feline impersonations. They make terrible audiences/critics in any event. You probably should have consulted with him/her before capturing the moment.)
They have charts, curves, percentiles for such things. Trust me, my head is big. And it may hold the wit, but I think that big heads are also related to autistic tendencies, so...
I have the exact opposite problem. My head is unusually small. Every hat I get is either way too big, or if adjustable, has to be cinched all the way down.
I'd much rather have a big head. I think that there have been studies that relate head size to relative intelligence, and there appears to be a positive correlation.
I have to admit that, at first, it looked to me like you said your kid was a Cheeto. And with all that orange on his face, I think that might also be accurate :-).
i have a big head so can confirm that this, "The head size may have no relationship with inflated ego, but self-obsession is clearly evident" is definitely true. :)
logan had an even bigger head than me. loke has inherited his father's head. we could see on the very first ultrasound that he had inherited his father's head. hehe. had a hell of a time getting his big head out of me, that's for sure!!!
we say that big heads are necessary to house big brains. imagine how big my head is now that i have dreads. no hat wearing for me, for sure!
