Olympic things.

1. I really, really love Olympic boxing. I can't say that I've ever sat and watched a 12- or 15-round professional bout in its entirety. But Olympic boxing, that's not brutal (headgear), that comes in manageable bursts (four-round fights) and has national pride on the line? I am *all* over that, and I forgot how much I love watching it

I haven't watched any of the olympics this year!

I cant wait until Vancouver 2010 ... I don't know why, but I really like watching figure skating.

I don't watch boxing at all, but even I am noticing the rising cry of outrage (in between watching swimming and horsies and kayaking).

But no, the Olympics does not have too many swimming events!

It's really blatant and really disgraceful what I've seen of the judging at the boxing venue. I can't believe there aren't protests left and right.

At least swimming is not a judged sport unless you count synchronized swimming. The great thing about the Olympics is getting to see seldom nationally televised sports. I remember at the 1976 Montreal Olympics, my first wife became enthralled by weight lifting. I love to watch wrestling, both freestyle and Greco-Roman. To me it is so much more entertaining than the WWE garbage. There is some judging in wrestling. I once saw a referee penalize a wrestler for not being aggressive. The Olympics are also the only time I will watch dressage.

me too. It's the only thing I've broken my "no olympics" rule for. To me it's just so amazing to watch.

Husband has been watching baseball. And beach volleyball.

I didn't realize I liked beach volley ball until last night. It was kind of nice!
