opensuse 12.3
I am in the midst of upgrading my system. I am going from opensuse 12.2 to 12.3 and trying, at the same time, to also reorganize my disk storage.
I am going to try to run a R.A.I.D. 5 array. So far there have been numerous small issues. I think I will overcome, especially as I have a week off on vacation so can devote way to much time on it.

Selective support of the bill of rights`
The press is currently giving some free publicity to a group whose goal is "freedom from religion". There is a case in Steubenville OH where a school has a picture of the Christian son of God on the wall. Differences of opinion
I have two authors whose writings I enjoy. One is Jerry Pournelle and the other is Piers Anthony. I just got done reading both their websites. It is fairly obvious that Mr. Pournelle is a conservative and Mr. Anthony is a liberal. Both men are successful authors and both firmly believe in their point of view as being the correct one ( Read more... ) -

Hypocracy
President Obama wants to send more Marines to guard our embassies. I can understand that. After all, terrorists and crazy people respect no law and only adequet force can stop them. Do you find it odd that our school children can be protected by laws when it is clear our embassies can not?

Quick note
It is the season for roof repair. I am finally starting to patch up the flat part of my roof that sits over the extension that makes our bedroom quite a bit larger than the original design.
