And I think its gonna be a long long time
Woa, been years since I last posted. I have been working nights and I used to be able to post to LJ from work. Then work blacklisted the LJ site so now I have to post from home if I want to leave anything. I may be able to post from my smart phone now. I will have to see.
It has been a bit busy for me the last few years. Car repairs, mine and my daughters, house repairs, yard work, and everything else going on has made it difficult to get around to posting.
I killed all my Facebook / myspace / twitter accounts as they were getting too bigbrotherish for my liking. It seems like anyone who posts automatically is stripped of any rights to their intellectual property.
As I have said in previous postings, I am an anarchist with libertarian tendencies. I do NOT go around hurting people or property to make a point. I live my life as an example of self reliance and determination to forge on with my life with as little of big brother, (not the reality show, the concept of overwhelming government control and oversight), as possible.
I am currently looking forward to several media events. The release of The Hobbit movie, the release of the new Jim Butcher Harry Dresden novel, and any Larry Correia books that might come out.
We have suffered a dramatic decline in our cat population. A large number of cats were born at almost the same time and that time is about 12 years ago. That time corresponds with the average lifespan of an indoor house cat, which ours are. I always plan that a cat will live for 20 years, just to be safe but many get old and die much sooner than that. The positive is having to buy less cat litter and food. The negative is the house is a lonelier place now a days.
Time to stop rambling and do some other things.
