My thanks, I'm glad you liked Rita here. I have never written her as a main character before, she's a lot of fun.

Thanks again!

Wow, this is extremely hot as well as being superbly in-character. I love the dynamics you've painted here, with a Rita who gets off on making Arthur act against his own better judgement. Loved the idea that she's partly doing it to spite Molly, too. (This is particularly interesting considering the latter's appartently blind faith in Rita's judgement, cf. the Harry/Hermione article...)

Some favourite lines:

Rita lazily pulled off her panties. Sooo in control of what she's doing...

It was only her personality and ambition that was inflexible.

He wanted her, and he wanted her to want him. The fact that he knew she did not, not really, well that just made him try a little harder; and hate himself a little more.

Skeeter was like an alley cat; it didn’t really get her attention until it hurt.

His fingers left bruises on her hips where he squeezed her, pulling her to him with his arms at the repeated command, ”Harder” that scalded his ear, sounding suspiciously like “is that all you’ve got?”, and driving him to greater efforts.

Thank you, I'm glad it worked for you, it was a bit different for me, and I was a touch uncertain about it.

Arthur is a bit of a mess here, I guess.

Beautifully in character, for both of them.

Make him wait fifteen minutes, then send the weasel in and take off. Vintage Rita.

Tiffany headed to lunch; she had a sudden yearning for lobster. That girl is born to make her fortune.

There could exist no greater contrast than that between the carefully potioned and spelled, expensively arranged golden curls that covered Rita’s head and the riot of black hair that covered her sex. May I add my cheers to the choir?

And perfectly tied-in with canon events. Great one!

So it was you, my dear Lark, who wrote this wonderful piece? One of my favourites.

This means, however, that you'll have to hand in your membership card of the one-woman I can't write, but I admire all of you club.

You're now an official member of the We know we wrote good stories, but that was then, and this is now, and now I'm crippled by Writer's Insecurity coven. Welcome to our little group!

One of us is confused here. It's most likely me, but in any case thanks and I'm glad you liked it. ;)

Oh, Merlin, I'm such an idiot! I thought I left this comment at Lark's Trelawney-story! Sorry, Lash, my fault entirely, I mixed things up completely.

Sorry, Lash!

How do you do that? How do you make Arthur Weasley cheat on the woman he loves, and make us love him even more? Poor man needs a cuddle after that.

And Rita was delicious!

The sex, had it not been so cringe-inducing, would have been extremely hot! (Hell, it was extremely hot, but also extremely squicky, so...)

Poor Arthur suffers from weakness of the flesh, as so many do. I think this is more of an affliction than an affair though.

Molly might not see it that way, but I suspect that she carefully ignores certain things.
