Oooh, this mystery author did a great job with this prompt!

"Skeeter was like an alley cat; it didn’t really get her attention until it hurt." Wow, great line for Rita.

I love how the story takes place in the Canon universe, and despite being an F***'d up situation, I can actually picture it happening behind the scenes. Wow, makes me wonder what would happen if Molly found out...and how she'd get her revenge on Rita (and Arthur :)

So IC for both of them; really well done, a fine depiction of sex-as-weapon, and hot to boot. I love the canon-compliance, too.

Most of my favorite lines have already been quoted, but as Rita knows, there's pleasure to be had in a certain amount of repetition:

There could exist no greater contrast than that between the carefully potioned and spelled, expensively arranged golden curls that covered Rita’s head and the riot of black hair that covered her sex. There, was the real Rita Skeeter. Uncontrolled, uncaring of what anyone thought, unconcerned with anyone’s opinion but her own.
A fine moment of characterization.

It was only her personality and ambition that was inflexible.

She knew that she owned a part of him that his wife did not even know existed.
Of course this notion would appeal to your Rita. And the fact that Arthur knows it, too, must make it extra-sweet.

“I hate you,” he said.
“You hate yourself, you want me."
Ah, now this is Rita.

I'm glad you thought the characters rang true, an unfaithful Arthur is a bit of a stretch, but we all have weaknesses.

Powerful emotions and story. I can very much picture Arthur Weasley with a more hidden Beast side. That in mind, I can picture Rita being the sort of person who could quench that hunger.

Oh piffle, there was hardly any more 'contributing' you had to do given my own parents! I'm pretty sure I was 16 when my father gave me a lesbian BDSM sex book; my mother was buying me erotica books at the time as well, whenever I requested them. I'm pretty sure I was a 'delinquent' by 14 at the oldest. (; Nothing to fear! But, yes, it is relieving to at last be firmly of age. :D
