I'm trying really hard to respect my roommate as a human being...for realsies, but he really is just a pompous asshole. I cannot imagine a less desirable person to live with. If you put a feral rat in a tub of water it can survive for a couple of hours before it drowns. If you rescue any of these rats right before they die, nurse, comfort and care for them, and then throw them back into the water they can survive for up to 20 hours.

I've decided I need a button to turn my hormones on and off. That would make everything so much easier. Maybe theres a pill...or soy...or something.

If you have a big enough hammer and you swing it hard enough you can solve any problem life throws at you. Sometimes this is a metaphor. Sometimes.. it isn't.

And so that doesn't sound completely random. I was pounding nails for the better part of today helping to build a house for some family through habitat for humanity. Fun stuff.
