Aging goths

The audience for the Peter Murphy Retrospective concert was mostly in their 30's and 40's (a couple even brought their kids), though there were a few who looked like they were in their 20's. I still haven't watched Blue Velvet all the way through without interruption; I'm not sure if it's worth it.

Glad you had fun. The funny thing is, when I went to the Newport to hear They Might Be Giants, I remember the sound being really good. Then again, TMBG are sticklers for clear enunciation.

I'm doubt that Blue Velvet is a must-see experience, unless you are a fan of David Lynch, Kyle McLaughlan, Isabella Rosalini, or Dennis Hopper. It is a truly odd film. But then, that's David Lynch.

I don't know about the sound. I have been to the Newport three times now, and each time I felt the sound had a lot of feedback. It was particularly disappointing when I saw The Indigo Girls, but that was a long time ago.
