Last night I waited for the #4 bus home for over an hour. And that would be the day that I forgot to wear a hat, although I did have an umbrella. The 5:45 didn't come, nor did the 6:03 or the 6:23. I was starting to worry that the #4 line wasn't running at all. But I was sure that the moment I gave up waiting and went into the mall to call a cab, the bus would come.
Eh, yeah... I hate it when that happens. In my area of town the bus only comes once an hour. Standing around wondering if it is late (or if I was late) is no fun. But a least the weather is comparatively always nice here.

Apparently about half the city is without power.
I hope your power stayed on for Christmas and that you and your kitties are warm.

Luckily my bus (usually) runs every 12 to 20 minutes, depending on the time of day, so waiting might be annoying but not a major pain. That long of a wait is blessedly unusual.

It did, thank goodness! I don't know what I would have done if it had gone off. Some people are *still* without power. I have heard that a number of people stayed in hotels. I would have been so worried about my cats!
