things and stuff

I had planned on working on the Art Meme tonight but I've only got the self-portrait ones left to do and I can't get motivated to draw myself so I thought I'd just ramble on and let ya know what I've been up to lately and maybe do a Meme. You may find something interesting but most likely not. For some reason, I'm not getting the usual helpful ( Read more... )

I posted it right before you, so I guess you're right about #25! It's too bad I didn't put, "Somewhere, someone is thinking I'm most likely to repost this meme" for #11, because that would have been really cool. Or freaky.

The things we do for Remus, even if his name does get spelled incorrectly by the graffiti artists! But you've given me a heart attack by taking a picture while driving next to a semi!! Don't do it ever again, okay??

I think you would make an excellent ship's captain...or counselor! You look right at home in both seats, lol.

Hooray for JS&MN! What do you think so far?

That was indeed a little freaky, but in a good way. Brownie points to you for discovering that no. 12 had gone missing. Do you think that this meme will eventually dwindle down to only questions 7, 9 and 13?

I promise, mom. ;) From now on I'll restrict my car activities to texting, doing my hair or having animated discussions with the radio DJ.

Hooray for JS&MN! What do you think so far?I really like it. I love her writing style. It feels old but it's easy to read. The story has me wondering just where it's going and I've been tempted to read a head to see how it ends. I won't tho'. I haven't ( ... )

Actually I agree with gilpin25 that you should paint "and Tonks" next to it.

I haven't latched on to any one character, as I usually do, but that's okay as they're all wonderfully or tragically flawed.

Hooray! Those are my thoughts exactly, although there's one I love quite a lot before the end. ;) Isn't the style great? I smiled about all the "shewing" and "chusing" and "headachs" throughout.

It's tempting but it'd be easier to just pick a new spot, closer to the ground where I wouldn't have to hang over the edge to spray it on upside down.

I love her little comments and even tho' I usually find them distracting, the footnotes are worth taking a little time out from the main story.

Jonathan just returned from the war and I expect that something big's going to happen soon. His wife's been hanging out with the Thistle-haired man, and that's never good, so I imagine she's gonna be in trouble soon. Ah...the plot thickens.

Brilliant pictures - I expect you to somehow get up there and write "and Tonks" after Remis. ;)

Love the Trekkie ones; I'm so envious of you sitting in the captain's chair. I think I'd have to have mine hanging onto Riker's arm, wishing it was season one and he was minus the beard and the everlasting shoulders. Or just hanging on his arm, lol.

I think you've got the best answer to 7 so far. As for the married trombone player - it's Riker, isn't it?!

Or at the very least, do a bit of spelling correction! I took another look at it this morning and I don't think I'm up to risking my life to make the changes. Taking the picture was enough!

Oh those season one uniforms were horrid! I can't help but snigger every time I watch one of the early episodes. However, I thought the beard made him look older and more distinguished and when you're acting next to Patrick Stewart, you need all the help you can get!

I haven't gotten any leads yet but I have a pretty good idea I know who took it. ;)

LOL! Sadly, no.

Oh, I love Galaxy Quest! It's such a great film....

*edited because my head's so full of Pattinson I forgot I had Rickman icons. And I needed to use one. Because Rickman rocks.

I'll see your Rickman and raise you a Thewlis.

Galaxy Quest is one of those movies I can enjoy anytime. It especially appeals to the Trekkie in me as I've met reality-challenged people at conventions like those in the movie.
