things and stuff

I had planned on working on the Art Meme tonight but I've only got the self-portrait ones left to do and I can't get motivated to draw myself so I thought I'd just ramble on and let ya know what I've been up to lately and maybe do a Meme. You may find something interesting but most likely not. For some reason, I'm not getting the usual helpful ( Read more... )

I posted it right before you, so I guess you're right about #25! It's too bad I didn't put, "Somewhere, someone is thinking I'm most likely to repost this meme" for #11, because that would have been really cool. Or freaky.

That was indeed a little freaky, but in a good way. Brownie points to you for discovering that no. 12 had gone missing. Do you think that this meme will eventually dwindle down to only questions 7, 9 and 13?

The things we do for Remus, even if his name does get spelled incorrectly by the graffiti artists! But you've given me a heart attack by taking a picture while driving next to a semi!! Don't do it ever again, okay??

I promise, mom. ;) From now on I'll restrict my car activities to texting, doing my hair or having animated discussions with the radio DJ.

Hooray for JS&MN! What do you think so far?

I really like it. I love her writing style. It feels old but it's easy to read. The story has me wondering just where it's going and I've been tempted to read a head to see how it ends. I won't tho'. I haven't latched on to any one character, as I usually do, but that's okay as they're all wonderfully or tragically flawed.

Actually I agree with gilpin25 that you should paint "and Tonks" next to it.

Hooray! Those are my thoughts exactly, although there's one I love quite a lot before the end. ;) Isn't the style great? I smiled about all the "shewing" and "chusing" and "headachs" throughout.

It's tempting but it'd be easier to just pick a new spot, closer to the ground where I wouldn't have to hang over the edge to spray it on upside down.

I love her little comments and even tho' I usually find them distracting, the footnotes are worth taking a little time out from the main story.

Jonathan just returned from the war and I expect that something big's going to happen soon. His wife's been hanging out with the Thistle-haired man, and that's never good, so I imagine she's gonna be in trouble soon. Ah...the plot thickens.

You're flying right along in the book! The Man with the Thistle-down hair is such a creep, isn't he??
