I had planned on working on the Art Meme tonight but I've only got the self-portrait ones left to do and I can't get motivated to draw myself so I thought I'd just ramble on and let ya know what I've been up to lately and maybe do a Meme. You may find something interesting but most likely not. For some reason, I'm not getting the usual helpful icons to make LJ cuts and such so I'm doing it manually. I apologize in advance if it doesn't work...which is likely.

I'm a Trekkie and being a good Trekkie, I went to the Star Trek Tour which began it's tour in Long Beach last month. There were costumes galore and lots of props but the coolest thing was getting your picture taken on the Bridge...for a small fee naturally.
Captain Kirk has left me with the Comm and my best friend Karen is filling in for Uhura.
I let Karen have center stage on the Next Generation bridge as I gave her advice, as Ships Counselor.
Bought a new snowboard because the rentals are crap and the local shop was having a blowout. After getting the pros and cons of different boards, it all came down to graphics and this one won...paws down.
Good kitty. I plan on taking her out for one last trip this weekend before the season ends. Or rather, before my musical season kicks in and I have no free weekends.
For anyone still here, I leave you with a meme snagged from ladybracknell.

22. Tonight, I will... read a bit while soaking in the tub, try to get to bed before 10.
23. Tomorrow, I will... work, do a treadmill workout, try to make progress on the Art meme.
24. I really want... to give peace a chance.
