Stumbling through life lately. I don't even know where to start. Lots of Chicago. Saw Mountain Goats, and Crooked Fingers there a while back. Both shows where great. Saw My Bloody Valentine in Chicago last weekend. It was brilliant! They played many songs from Loveless, Isn't Anything, and the two Creation EP's. It was unbelievably loud, but beautiful all at once. It was amazing that the songs from Loveless sounded exactly like the record, except for Only Shallow, which had a different loop in the Chorus. The Mas! show at the stick was great. We sounded very good and had a lot of fun. It finally seems to be coming together. I look forward to writing new songs. Went to Chicago this weekend to see the girls and Ida on Saturday. Friday was usual fun at tuman's. The Ida show was amazing. Our show went O.K. on Friday, but I was hella tired at work the next day. Could've played a little better, but that will come once I get used to the new lineup. Energy was a little lacking. I survived the girls' visit last weekend(mostly)unscathed. Got to see James as well. It was a Chitown invasion! Playing at the Pike Room in the Crowfoot for Ancourage's last show. It's our first with Joe on drums ETC. Kind of excited. Meantime...bored at work.
