The headache and the wrist pain sound like very real reasons to feel tired - it's easy to forget, but pain and pain management is exhausting.

I submit "I somehow seem not to be in France" as a perfectly reasonable explanation for the crankies! I hope the right kind of rest or inspiration happens soon to bring your wannas back.

I had the donwannas too when I got home from vacation. There's nothing wrong with a little self-bribery to get through them. Doesn't mean it's going to be a slog forever. It'll pass.

I'd offer that usually, I'm crankiest just before a breakthrough. It's not a fun place to be, but it seems to be a place you need to pass through in order to successfully get to where you have to be.

And give yourself some credit, you've just come off an incredibly high, high. I think standing on solid ground might feel like practically depression in comparison. :) I'll take you cranky any day if this is really you cranky!

You are hugged, loved and encouraged to keep breathing, big, deep breaths.

I missed a clue somewhere, for which I'm sorry.

Hope the wrist issues aren't too bad. I agree that being in a lot of pain takes WAY more energy than one might think. Also, this dreary nonstop gray weather seems to have a LOT of people feeling run down and cranky. A couple weeks of good sunshine would fix a lot of that, ime.
