Today It Begins

Yesterday was the one-week mark, but I had a birthday party for a very important five-year-old to go to, and a very important three-year-old as well, and that was so clearly more vital than anything going on with me that although there was talk about the wedding, and doing things about the wedding, it mostly felt like the calm before the storm.

All 5-year-olds are very important. I think one measure of the health of a civilization may be how many of them have people who tell them so. (If my theory is correct, you didn't just go to a birthday party, you helped bolster a civilization. ;-)

wedding party dress: oh i can't WAIT to hear that story. i'm sure they're beautiful, but i can't imagine not having at least a small meltdown about it, personally.
