This morning I struggled to wake up. I despaired at the gray weather, and even ballet class never managed to make me feel fully awake and present in my body

I can sympathize with some of the angst of having to disengage from the holiday so you can do schoolwork; I've done some of that, and it's no fun and can be pretty awkward. :-/
