Sick :(

I have this annoying stomach flu since 4 days ago. Lots of painful cramps and other much more disgusting symptoms I won't be discussing here, for the sake of whoever reads this post. Specially cinnamon4ik and shirleypaz who recently friended me. I don't want to scare you both off with detailed descriptions

Yes this "sale" thing is weird, I'd say most people don't even know what it means. One of our students wrote his thesis about exactly that, I think he took pictures in the mall and then investigated whether people actually had a clue about all the things written in English!

It's a really interesting topic to make a thesis. Because, seriously, what's wrong with using spanish language? Does "Sale" sounds more... IDK, sophisticated or stylish that "Oferta"? LOL.

Oh, my. Stomach flu is the absolute WORST. *hugs you* I hope your tummy soon regains its senses and you feel better. Summer vacation is NO time to be ill.

Ohhh, yes. He's just what the doctor ordered. ^_^ (I seriously don't have a priest kink. I just have a Misha kink. XD)

And yeah, it sucks to be sick in summer. There's lot of nice places to go and delicious food to eat and here I am, bored, hungry and on a terrible mood!

But today I feel much more better!! I think the worst is already behind me. *Hugs back*

Yo no puedo imaginar la Navidad en invierno... Jajaja, para mí, Navidad está asociada con mucho calor, con largos días y paseos a la playa.
Tener Navidad en invierno me parece muy deprimente, porque yo soy de esas personas que necesitan sol y cielo azul para sentirme feliz. XD

Sí, nosotros estamos en vacaciones de verano. Los estudiantes tienen vacaciones de verano desde finales de diciciembre (por lo general las clases terminan una semana antes de Navidad). Las clases comienzan de nuevo la última semana de febrero o la primera semana de marzo.

Yo trabajo en una Universidad. Soy profesora de Periodismo y además trabajo como Administrativa, en la Unidad de Acreditación (are you familiar with the term "accrediting"?).

Mi universidad es pequeña y cierra durante todo febrero, por eso tengo un mes entero de vacaciones! Por lo general, en Chile, la gente que trabaja tiene dos semanas de vacaciones. I'm lucky! :D

Actually, I'm much better now! I feel almost completely recovered. Whew!! I'm not used to being sick.

Here we have snow in the mountains or at the southern part of the country... only not in summer! LOL.

Yeah, I know what you mean about the spirit of the season! :)
