It's a good thing summer is warm.
My summer was rather interesting, yet a bit tiring. Daddy blew up the house, you see. So I've been helping him repair the walls and such. The walls were rather easy. It's a bit lumpy to the south, but it will hold. It's the stuff inside that is a little harder to replace. Things are rather expensive. I've had to manage for a while. Christmas bells are ringing!

Meetings and plans
I met an interesting person the other day. At first he was very angry with me when I tried a Warming Charm on my foot and I missed. It hit the wall that he was on the other side of. The Charm was way more powerful than I anticipated. It burned my foot and made the wall really hot. They should call it a Heating Charm instead of a Warming Charm. This ( Read more... ) -

Today in Transfiguration, we worked on turning hedgehogs into pincushions. I couldn't quite get mine, poor thing. Whenever that happens, I feel really badly about it. My head really does hurt today. I can't fathom why. Last night was the really fun party in the Gryffindor Common Room. I dressed as the Giant Squid. It was quite fun to put together! Oh, this school journal is quite handy. Normally I don't care too much if my things go missing, but I must learn not to leave my books lying about. If anyone has seen my Magical History book, I need it back. I have a paper to write.
