After having to go into crisis mode last night (nothing life-threatening, purely Frosh Revue related) and then having to go to bed before finishing my reading thanks to a sizeable headache, I wasn't looking forward to my 9:30 AM lesson.  But then of course it went well and I love both thinking about something like double stops and then also feeling

The phrase "happy new skirt" reminded me of the Fish Licence skit.

I am also wearing a new skirt today.In black, and not as a tube top! Having an American Apparel store across the street from work could be my downfall.

Muscle memory is one of life's greatest joys. I can still play the Lalo concerto after months away from my cello! learning new pieces is hard for me, but since I've already played a ton of repertoire, I am able to rock at many pieces without practicing! woot.
