After having to go into crisis mode last night (nothing life-threatening, purely Frosh Revue related) and then having to go to bed before finishing my reading thanks to a sizeable headache, I wasn't looking forward to my 9:30 AM lesson.  But then of course it went well and I love both thinking about something like double stops and then also feeling the muscle memory at work in my fingers.  And even though it's mostly cloudy now, it WAS very happy and sunny -- but that cool mountain sunny where it's cloudy and sunny at the same time.  And now I'm just sitting in my room for a few minutes before linguistics eating one of the world's most amazing apples and listening to the third movement of the Schumann piano quartet.  Life is good.

I can't even begin to express how happy fresh apples make me.  Seriously.  Beyond any sort of normal food experience.  Oh boy.

Oh and P.S. I'm wearing my happy new skirt that just arrived in the mail on Friday, and I'm thrilled because it was a final sale (no returns!) but it fits and it's a miracle and I don't know why so many stores tried to get rid of their petite lines recently because they are a life saver.
