this was lovely to read, and I am so glad for you both that you're getting more sleep!

Thank you - glad you enjoyed it. And thanks for the sleep well-wishes. It's making a big difference.

My god, aren't paracetamol suppositories just brilliant? Who ever thought prescribing oral medicine for a convulsing child could possibly be useful?

The rest all looks wonderful, but I can't read kid thing in detail just now. I will though.

Absolutely on the paracetamol suppositories. You really don't want them unless you need them, but if you do, they are The Business and no mistake.

Quite understand about the rest.

So glad about the sleeping!

(I must thank you for having mentioned Poisson Rouge a while ago - Holly's really loving it.)

Not half as glad about the sleeping as we are. :-)

You're welcome on Poisson Rouge - happy to spread joy around.

You can get paracetamol suppositories? That's good to know as Kit can spit out all medicine, so she doesn't get any, but I worry that she will need some for more than mild pain relief some day.

Congratulations on the sleep. I, too, curse the clock change, having spent an hour trying to persuade Kit to go to sleep. Hermain form of imaginative play at the moment is making me breastfeed her toys, including a lorry and a book.

You can get them over the counter at pharmacists - they're not on display so you have to ask for them, but they're not prescription-only.

I love the idea of breastfeeding a toy lorry and a book. Hooray for toddler imaginations.

I had exactly the same thought - is York more backwards than other places? surely not...! I shall start looking for them!

You won't find them on the shelves, you have to ask. And they cost a small fortune. (But worth every million quid when you need them. :-)
