I'm writing a booty-thumping club song called "trying to grow a dick" and dedicating it to you. It will become an anthem for gay men and their faghags everywhere!

I was listening to disco last night and thinking about how you'd probably know all the songs back to front...<3!

Oh come on. Fess up. You meant "ravages." Because "ravishes" is a conjugated form of the transitive verb "to ravish," the noun (plural) form of which is "ravishments." Not to mention that the word (ravish) itself implies either confiscation, rape, or rapture, and clearly you are indicating another event in your narrative. As well, contextual evidence (obtained by a simple search engine comparison)indicates that the most common use of the word "Ravage" is in the plural and specifically in reference to the devastation wrought by misconduct or disease, such as the "ravages of tuberculosis." Compare a google search for "ravages of" (1,780,000 hits) with one for "ravishes of" (1,390 hits), and attempt to read some of the statements in the latter cohort. Simple mistake, really. There's no shame in that ( ... )

i am not only impressed by your utter resolve to prove your point (thus showing that i was wrong, which admitedly i was -- touche) but also somewhat disheartened that so much precious time, energy, natural resources and TLC were wasted in the formulation of above rebuttal when there are starving children in china! nice work -- you must be ravished!!
