LAST TIME on Not Without My Disco:One Boy's Struggle with Love, Lust & Live Journaling (an Oxygen Channel Miniseries Event), we saw Sally Struthers in the role of a lifetime as Cody, the dewey femme du monde. After a ten year battle, Cody's domestic partner, Rico (played by Antonio Sabato, Jr.) finally succumbs to the ravishes of tuberculosis. Heart-broken and barely legal, Cody falls into the English-teaching slave trade where, in order to escape the gruesome whippings and psychological torture, he seeks solace in the beauty of the cherry blossom. Yet, the sweeter memory of Rico's body continues to haunt Cody, first at the Festival of Giant Throbbing Phalluses, then at the Running of the Round Puckered Rumps. Can Cody pull his life together? Can Cody find love in the raw sewage-filled rivers of Okayama?? Can Cody get rid of his nasty, itchy rash???
