Uh... a shinigami is a god that reaps the souls of the dead and sends them to the afterlife. It wants to kill us because it doesn't like zombies, even the legal kind. Thinks we're 'abominations' or something.

Only they don't normally come after us unless we do something stupid or leave ourselves open to it! This one's actually hunting us down!
