[Sunao quietly waits and listens to the song before saying anything.]

What does 'wassail' mean?

It's when you go sing to the apple orchards to ensure a good harvest, then go about the town singing door to door to door, gathering more people until you come to the pub where everyone has drinks and sings some more.

Although the singing becomes increasingly less about the festivities and more vulgar as more alcohol is consumed, but what can you expect?

I don't think anyone does that in my world. Maybe a long time ago... it sounds like something I'd want to see.

I'm not really surprised. Hm... Kureha would like that part.

It's fun. So is getting the Yule Log, but... I don't think it would be a good idea to cut down any living trees around here.

Does this Kureha like to drink?

Do you celebrate Christmas in your world?

Th-thanks! I messed it up a little, but it's my favourite song to sing this time of year.

[he listens quietly]

... What is the hunting of the wren, if I may ask?

It's a tradition in the winter time, where a wren is hunted, killed and put on a pole and decorated. The hunters then go around town singing and collecting donations and they give a feather from the bird for luck.

No, but we have holidays around this time too, and years-end celebrations~

I think-- huh, some of us might decorate trees too, but I've never heard of a Yule log.

Maybe we could decorate some of the trees around here?

Not cut them down, but decorate them.
