Farewells Quickly Draw Near...
I recieved a notice on our door yesterday that let us know our lease runs up August 31st. The options are not good. If we opt for a 6 month lease, which puts our move out date sometime in the middle of winter, it costs us $10 more a month. Wii got a Wii!
Our brand new Wii came in the mail yesterday! All we have is Wii Sports until Luxor 3 comes in the mail (shipped separately, I guess). We played that for a little bit and then went out to see what we could find at Vintage Stock and Gamestop. Gosh, it's been forever since I posted in this thing. Sometimes I forget that I should be using it more for myself because I don't keep a real journal, more for me than for keeping up with others. The very sad thing about these last two days of our honeymoon is that I did not take notes shortly after. The Honeymoon: Thursday - Chicago/St Louis
Thursday morning we awoke and packed quickly. Chicago is a great city, but not somewhere one wishes to stay for long. It's very expensive, for one thing. We woke up relatively early and began planning our day. We decided we wanted to see the major landmarks: the Field Museum, the Planetarium, Aquarium, Art Institute and Sears Tower. The Honeymoon: Tuesday - Chicago
Tuesday morning we left Sandusky fairly early, which is to say well after the sun came up, and headed for Chicago. It was rainy and the GPS took us down some back roads before eventually meeting up with the turnpike. We woke up not quite as early as we wanted to and had a quick bite to eat downstairs. We packed up, and when I went outside wearing shorts on what I expected to be a warm sunny day, I discovered that it was COLD out, and windy.
