New Shelves -- How Exciting!

I just got a phone call from the IKEA delivery guy and he should be on my doorstep first thing tomorrow morning with a bunch of shelving. That puts them one day ahead of the predicted delivery, so that's working out better than

I just bought some shelves myself. I think that's pretty exciting! I looked at IKEA, but Staples had similar shelves at a similar price with free shipping, while IKEA's shipping would have doubled the price.

Race ya to see who gets them up/filled first? (I still have to clear some space for them in my tiny overflowing office.)

I looked at Staples, but they only had plastic foil finish and I was looking for wood veneer. I was buying enough stuff that delivery charge spread out reasonably -- 1 item about $100, but many items about $130.

The delivery guy showed up at 25 to 8 this morning, having said he would be here about 8:30. I had the three Billy bookcases assembled and in place before 10, with at least something on each of them. Tonight I will unpack the rest of my books and assemble the other shelf thing that has openings just the right size for vinyl LP records.
