Takato steps out of the carriage and looks around himself in fascination. He hesitates, not sure which way to go first. But then he catches the familiar smell of bread and pastries baking. With a small nostalgic smile he begins to follow the scent.

Somewhere in the aisles of 'Tomes and Scrolls' there is a loud crashing sound as Conan overbalances on his precarious ladder and goes tumbling to the ground beneath an entire shelf full of books on recent magical history.

Japan had just been poking inside when he hears the crashing noise and jumps a bit, staring over. "I-is everyone alright?" He's not sure who's over there, but that was quite the messy crash.

[There is a tumbling sound as Conan pushes a few books off the top of the pile and crawls out.]

I'm okay.

That was quite a fall... [Japan fully enters now, walking over to offer his hand to help Conan up.]

Hungary, not minding the cold weather as she's dressed for it, is eager to explore the village. All of it. Starting with what all is outside.

"To think such a place exists...I wonder if England knows about it. Or Hogwarts, for that matter!"

She muses to herself as she treks through the street, stopping at Honeyduke's and curiously peering into the window.

"If he did, surely he would be laughing at us for being stuck here."

Russia had just come out of Honeyduke's, a rather good sized bag in his arms. He can't resist chocolate, alright? He pops a piece in his mouth and offers her some.

"Enjoying the village so far?"

Hungary smiles upon seeing her new ally and gladly accepts the piece of chocolate.

"Mmm, thank you, this is delicious."

She laughs a little at his initial comment.

"Knowing England he probably would. It'd be hilarious to see him stuck here if he doesn't know about it, though. I can just picture how huffy he'd be!"

Sometimes Hungary is slightly sadistic.

"I am! The castle's nice, but getting away from it for a bit is great. I think I needed a break. What about you?"

Russia laughs, puffing himself up and letting his voice settle into a rather good imitation of England's accent.

"'Honestly, held captive by a Magical castle?! By god, you lot better let me out of here or so help me I will sic Busby's chair on you!' or something like that, da?"

He shrugs and shifts the bag in his arms.

"I was beginning to think they would never let us out, so it is a nice reprieve even if only for a few hours."

[Not stuck in dickmagic school grounds? You bet your shiny ass Dave is looking around, whether he's with someone or not. He's checking about every store he can get into to peek or be some nosy douchebag.

Who knows? Maybe if he's lucky he can find a way out of this place. Hardly the chance but doesn't kill to try.]

[ Oh hi, fellow explorer. Hong Kong here is just wandering around aimlessly, but it looks like he already found some place with food, because he's munching on something as he comes meandering around to wherever Dave is. ]

Looking for something?

[Okay sure yeah someone can approach him sure why not. Behind shades Dave passes his gaze over, eyeing the newly joined company and gives a light shrug.]

Nah, not really. Just poking around like a bird on snausages.

[ Well, the only way Hong Kong wouldn't is if there were a neon sign over his head saying 'do not approach me.' Actually, no, he'd probably come over and ask about the sign in that case. ]

There's a lotta stuff to poke at.

[As unfortunate as this whole situation is, Japan is eager to make the best of it. All bundled up in his winter Gryffindor clothes, he makes his way into the village with no specific destination.

You could find him just about anywhere, being overly nosy and even observing people on the street and pausing to consider how they're acting. It's been so long since he's been outside in even his own country, so it's certainly a magical experience one way or the other.

He's sort of spacey though, so if you're not paying attention, chances are he's not looking the right way and will stumble into you. Followed by profuse apologies.]

[ If it makes Japan feel any better, he's not the only one wandering around a bit spaced out. And so of course, the inevitable collision happens!

Lost in his own thoughts and distracted by the strange and interesting things on display in the windows, Minato walks smack into Japan.]

!
A-ah, I'm sorry. Are you all right?

Uwah! [He stumbles back but catches himself, raising a hand to his head and then immediately bowing at the realization of what happened.]

My sincerest apologies! Ah... I believe that should be my question. I am fine, so please do not worry.

[Minato's somewhat formal but not quite as formal as all that. But still, if Japan's going to bow at him, Minato'll do a bit of an apologetic bow right back. He shakes his head, too.]

I'm fine. ... I guess we both weren't looking where we were going.
