This was a moderately busy weekend for the doctor, starting off with seeing the war/holocaust movie Defiance with pixelmonster and LJ-less 'stooge' Larry. It was a good, solid WW II based on the Jewish Bielski partisans in German occupied Eastern Poland/western Belarus. This was a much better choice of movie than the usual Hollywood 'fluff' or

Came in just about the time they kicked off the second half. Got bored, went in search of dessert. Came back sometime early in 4th.

Not quite as dramatic a finish as last year, and besides, I didn't have the vested interest in Steel Town I did in Eli and the Gints... nor anybody to rant and roar with, being as I was in the airport rather than on somebody's couch...

I don't dislike football - I really would like to be able to cheer for my state's team and whatnot. It's just not easy to do when your state's team is the Panthers, bunch of damn choke artists. :(

I watched none of the pregame, saw the first half and part of halftime, then turned it off for other things.

I don't hate football, I just don't care much for team sports as a general rule, and no longer understand rabid sports fandom...
