I've been *trying* to get into the spirit of the Winter Olympics - but without a huge amount of success. NBC's coverage has been less than spectacular and uneven - concentrating too much on 'American crap' and less on the games. Just a short time ago, I was watching woman's skeleton racing on the AUS sports network. Attractive young women racing at terrifying speeds face-first down an ice-covered ramp on a tiny sled.

This was a moderately busy weekend for the doctor, starting off with seeing the war/holocaust movie Defiance with pixelmonster and LJ-less 'stooge' Larry. I didn't watch much of the game until the fourth quarter - and then: WOW. An amazing comeback by the Cardinals only be foiled by an incredible end-zone TD snag.
