I promised myself (and James) that we wouldn't take on any more solo shows this year, since we've already had one and have two coming up. HOWEVER. It would be insane to pass up the opportunity to show at Kong, so looks like I'm spending my 30th birthday in Mexico City!

We've been sick for over a week now and the damn sick shows no signs of breaking. For the last day or so I've been without a voice, so that kind of sucks. Man, we are up to our fucking eyeballs right now. It's both good and bad.

We found a place to live in Milwaukee. It's a craftsman bungalow and it's all ours. And it's at least 2 blocks away from the nearest crack house, so that's good. We'll move around the 2nd week of August.

Rackin'em up- we're going to be visiting artists in Pittsburgh in July. We're supposed to be visiting artists at ODU in Norfolk too; just waiting on details about that one.

Neat, so we were invited to lecture at MIAD (Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design)- to the illustration kids. Fun stuff. We recently juried a student art show. That was really hard. Just got back from my grandma's funeral yesterday. James' aunt died last night. My aunt had a heart attack today and is in the hospital- they say it's not looking too good. What the fuck is up?

Oh and James sprained his ankle yesterday too. Sucks.

So my grandma died yesterday. We knew it was coming and she was in hospice for a while, so it's not a huge shock. What IS a huge shock (and I find completely disgusting) is that my uncle's wife is in Las Vegas right now visiting her parents and she refuses to come back earlier than planned, so we won't be having the funeral until at least March 7- ( Read more... )
