Miles and Jim's shift is coming to a close, and Miles leans back in his chair and yawns loudly. He liked to slack for the last half hour or so, and at this point, Jim hardly cared anymore.

Miles tosses a wadded-up piece of paper at Jim to get his attention, and it bounces off his head. When the man turns and glares, Miles smiles widely.

Miles walks up to Rose's house, a plate covered with tin foil in his hands. It seems like he's seen just about everyone he used to talk to before he disappeared, so it makes sense for him to stop by her house to see how she's been. He walks up to her front door, knocking loudly, hoping that Rose would be home.

Miles walked up to Jim and Juliet's front door, knocking hesitantly. He's carrying a covered pan in his hands, warm beef stew sloshing around on the inside. It's a peace offering, an apology for acting the way he did when he first showed up. He had spent all afternoon making it, hoping his friends would be up for a talk on this warm Tuesday night.

He hadn't been home for long, but the past few days had been busy for Miles none the less. He had spent most of yesterday cleaning up his house, getting rid of the thin layer of dust that covered just about everything.
