All this, and pregnant too??

I remain quite flabbergasted that this hasn't yet been snarked

I'm not particularly ragging on the OP, as they at least seem to be *trying* to do the right thing, if perhaps a tad oblivious (and, credit where it's due, I do like the icon), but c'mon folks! If this ain't a Bingo a-comin', I don't know what it.

bingo, relationship broken - make more people, hbb, parallel monogamy

At least we won't be having Maury-style who's the daddy drama from this one.

;¬) You know it! (Although that would be *far* from the weirdest thing ever to happen on polyamoury, of course...)

Nor on polyamory, either.

For some reason, it didn't feel as snarkworthy as the "THIS IS WHY POLYAMORY IS BETTER THAN SWINGING" people. This person at least seems to be aware that there's a big trainwreck a-comin'.

"Also, keep in mind that the 'L' word emerged shortly before the pregnancy discovery, so that means that there were hormones involved with the 'L' word."

...because, of course, you only have hormones if you're pregnant. Right. Got it.

Uh, no.

For some women, hormonal surges, such as those experienced during pregnancy or during certain phases of the menstrual cycle, can effect a woman's emotions and behavior. While it's (almost) never the sole reason for sudden changes in mood or demeanor it can certainly be a contributing factor.

If the OP finds her married GF's behavior mercurial, this could be a contributing factor.

Not a woman hating thing just a biological fact thing.

Perhaps the commenter should have phrased it that way, then.

I can't stand it when people say, "The L word", or "Dropping the L bomb". Be articulate and explain what you actually mean. Using slang in this case is not cute, witty. It is vague and ambiguous. Everyone views love differently according to their own experiences. You can't expect readers to understand you when using slang in a case like this.

I thought she meant "lesbian" at first (thanks to the TV show "The L Word") so I was really confused.
