Regarding the bread: can you freeze a portion of it? I know of 'single person' bread (and produce) issues, and have sadly had to toss too many items because it went bad before I could work my way through it. *GRIN* But for bread, sometimes I'll only keep out a half loaf and freeze the other half until I'm ready to use it.
The Harry Potter movies have all been watched all the way through in prep for DH2.
I should do that! I can't wait for the final installment! :D
I had to go buy Kenneth Branagh's Hamlet in order to get Gilderoy Lockhart out of my Head. I kept expecting KB to whip out his wand and or photograph out when I'd see him anything else.
LOL. I could loan you my copy of Henry V... or Dead Again... or Peter's Friends?
And now you've got me hearing him as Lockhart in my head.
"Ah... yes, well, that can sometimes happen. Um, but, uh, the point is, uh, you can no longer feel any pain. And, very clearly, the bones are not broken."
I think I will have to go on a Shakespeare binge next. I haven't seen Henry V, but I do want to see it. I read a pretty interesting book this spring, 'Interred With Their Bones' by Jennifer Lee Carrell, which was a 'who was Shakespeare' romp ala 'The DaVinchi Code'. Probably about as realistic, but it was fun, and somewhat edumakational. :0
I have seen & loved both Dead Again and Peter's Friends, back in the day. I think Dead Again was the first thing I saw him in. much like the rest of the US. Have you seen any of Wallander? it has been on PBS, though for Little Rock the schedule is kind of iffy. I have really enjoyed the few that I've seen.
Also, I have never actually cared much for bread unless utterly fresh and home made. James Beard has a lot to answer for!! I tend to forget stuff in the freezer and end up throwing it out a year later. I have a bag for left over bread and ends, in case I need bread crumbs, but these days, I don't think I would eat it on purpose... too easy to whip up a new loaf, or now, half-loaf!
cookie are almost always worth it! it is really difficult to make gluten free chocolate ship cookies, there just isn't enough to hold hem together.
I need to re-watch Dad Again, it has been too many years.
The outing with your Girl Unit sounds fantastic. I go to the movies so rarely that when I do, Boy Unit usually thinks it is an event and goes with, so yes, I know exactly what you're looking forward to! I am sad to see the end of the movies, it's the end of an era--no more books, no more movies. I have dabbled in HP fan fiction in the past, I might have to dive back in!
