My VCR is exhibiting signs of last-legs-ism. In order to record Supernatural (downstairs) while I snatched up a Dreamwidth seed account (upstairs), there was much pressing and re-pressing of buttons, replacement of batteries in the remote, and a couple of thwacks to the gizmo.
